n Thursday, 14th February New Vision English Hub was launched at Elmhurst Primary School.
The afternoon included a range of inspirational guest speakers. Kathryn Warrilow, Deputy Director in the Curriculum Policy Division at the Department for Education, spoke about the government’s vision for the English Hubs. Ruth Miskin CBE, creator of Read, Write Inc, spoke about how schools can ensure that every child becomes a reader. Finally children’s author and illustrator Marta Altés spoke about why developing a love of stories in our pupils is so vital.
We were delighted to welcome school leaders from primary schools throughout North East London to find out about the English Hubs Programme.
