Last Thursday, we welcomed our seventeen new Partner Schools to Elmhurst Primary School for our Wave 4 Partner School Induction.
With Heads and Reading Leaders of local schools in attendance, along with our team of Literacy Specialists, we had a brilliant morning setting out our intentions for the year ahead.
We looked at how fidelity to a single phonics programme, supporting pupils in early language and the development of a reading for pleasure culture can all work together to ensure that our children can become lifelong readers.
All of our Partner Schools will receive up to 9 days of Literacy Specialist support over the two year programme as well as up to £6,000 funding towards phonics resources and training.
New Vision English Hub is looking forward to working with this new cohort of schools to drive forwards reading teaching.
